About Security Ops
Security Ops is a comprehensive, independent initiative dedicated to advancing cybersecurity through open-source solutions, hardened configurations, practical tools, and educational resources.
Created by Cristian Cezar Moisés, a cybersecurity enthusiast and developer from Caxias do Sul, Brazil, the project emphasizes privacy, minimalism, reproducibility, and long-term sustainability. Services and tools prioritize reduced attack surfaces, strong cryptography, server-side processing, and full compatibility with JavaScript-disabled environments.
The ecosystem promotes user sovereignty, open-source principles (with ongoing migration to Codeberg), and practical education to help users regain control over their digital lives.
Online Services
Privacy-focused, decentralized online services built with security, performance, and minimal third-party dependencies in mind. All services are self-hosted and designed for maximum user control.
Infrastructure and Networking
Resources and configurations for secure, reproducible infrastructure using tools like GNU Guix, custom kernels, and hardened networking practices.
Coming soon: Detailed guides on hardened server setups, TOR integration, and anonymity tools.
Software and Tools
Open-source cybersecurity tools, scripts, and utilities developed or curated by Security Ops.
Highlights include repository mirrors on Codeberg and Git, focusing on privacy scripts, performance optimizations, and security auditing tools.
Explore repositories at Codeberg and git.securityops.co.
Operating System
Hardened and reproducible system configurations, primarily based on GNU Guix.
SecurityOps: maximum practical Linux hardening, reproducible by design.
Guix Config Check it out!
All services are maintained by me during my free time from my work as an IT Support Analyst in Brazil. This project accepts donations through Liberapay: https://en.liberapay.com/securityops/. I hope you enjoy the universe I’ve created. Enjoy!
